Shellkit is first seen making her way out of the nursery with her siblings, causing her father, Shadowstar, to purr as he witnesses them leave. They are followed by Asterface. Rookflight lifts a paw, then blinks as the kits tumble, leading him to desire kits of his own. Shortly after, Shellkit is pounced on by Snailkit, squeaking a greeting to her sister. Asterface proceeds to tell her kits to calm down, eyes closed as she licks the top of the heads of the kits.
