"Just because you're younger, and the leader's mate, does not give you the right to hush a cat who's been living before you were even born. Anyways, there is no such thing as a Dark Forest. It's all fake. We and the elders before us have never been taught about this."
Pipitclaw might seem aggressive and unforgiving at first, but she is actually quite nice, earning this from her submissive, passive mother, who often treated her strictly and scolded harshly. She is easily angered by annoying cats, and will be quite bothered by their chattering, due to her fragile hearing, which she got from her father. She is very determined and will do anything to achieve her goals, and has felt this way ever since kithood, where her mother pushed her towards her limits to make her work to get what she wanted. Pipitclaw is very stubborn, and won't take help from anyone unless she really needs it. She is grouchy and serious at times, mostly during social situations, obtaining this from her father. However, on a good day, she can still be goaded by a close friend for a good round of play-fighting.
Pipitclaw is a LunaClan elder, the newest arrival to the den.
She is first seen deciding to chat with a nursery queen, Hollyflower. When Hazelstar announces that Mistfire had told her to train for the final battle, Pipitclaw claims that she went mad. Hazelstar informs her that she was fine, and the final battle was against the Dark Forest. Her mate, Soaringblaze, flicks his tail so that Pipitclaw would remain silent. She then snaps back at him, and tells him that though he was younger and the leader's mate, he had no right to hush her, who is noted to have living before he had been born. She adds that there was no such thing as the Dark Forest, that it was fake, and that she, the other elders, and the elders before them had never been told about it. Soaringblaze explains that he hushed her because she was rude, and that it did exist. Pipitclaw scoffs that it was part of his "fancy imaginations", and that although he might believe it exists, she didn't. She then turns back to Hollyflower, and asks her how was she doing in the nursery.
A few sunrises later, she is shown to be lying in the sun, trying to let its rays warm her fur.
Pipitclaw retired to the elders den not long before the roleplay started because of her failing hearing. This hindered her hunting abilities, which she felt were vital for a warrior to have. When it started to fail, she felt she was not doing her part, and requested to join the elders.
Pipitclaw: "Battle? I think Hazelstar's gone mad!"
Hazelstar: "I'm perfectly fine, thanks very much. The final battle against the Dark Forest. They're coming, and we must be ready for them."
Soaringblaze: "It's okay, Haze. I can help train some of the warriors and apprentices for battle."
Pipitclaw: "Just because you're younger, and the leader's mate, does not give you the right to hush a cat who's been living before you were even born. Anyways, there is no such thing as a Dark Forest. It's all fake. We and the elders before us have never been taught about this."
Soaringblaze: "I hushed you because you were being rude. And, unfortunately, it does exist."
Pipitclaw: "Soaringblaze, it's all part of your fancy-imaginations. You might believe it exists, but I don't."
